C.A. BARRS CONTACTOR, INC. PRESENTED 2010 VTCA SAFETY AWARD

On, April 7, 2011 C.A. Barrs Contractor earned 1st Place in the Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance Safety Award Program. C.A. Barrs was named the 2010 VTCA Safety Award Winner for the state of Virginia for the 100,000-250,000 man hours category. The company had 0 lost time accidents in 2010; an Experience Modification rate of .77 averaged over the last 6 years and an OSHA Incident Rate of 1.2 compared to the US Industry average of approximately 6.
